July 8th and July 22nd at 10:30am Pisgah Valley Retirement Community welcomes those who are looking for a retirement community or just want to better educate themselves about retirement living to come have lunch, tour the campus and hear a presentation about our community. Clyde Franz lived in West Virginia after retiring as President of Inter-American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Upon the recommendation of a friend, Clyde and his wife toured Pisgah Valley Retirement Community and moved here 18 Years ago. Clyde is an active resident who enjoys daily walks through the campus and the use of the Wellness Center.

Ed Couser has been a pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church for 25 years. Currently he pastors the Asheville North and Fairview SDA churches. He also served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves for 25 years. Ed states that he enjoys one on one conversations with the residents at Pisgah and values their wisdom.

93 year old Gretchen Morgan doesn’t let her age get in the way of living a happy and productive life. She and her late husband moved to Pisgah Estates 13 years ago from Florida. Gretchen has 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Gretchen has made many friends at Pisgah Valley and is very involved in the community.

Pisgah Manor is the proud recipient of an $8700 grant from the State of North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulation. This grant will be used to enhance the dining experience for the residents of Pisgah Manor.
