Please join the residents, caregivers and family members of Pisgah Manor Health Care Center in welcoming the American Health Care Association Driving for Quality Care cross-country petition tour.

This national effort, sponsored by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), will draw attention to the vital need for emergency Medicaid relief (FMAP) for America’s long term care and rehabilitation centers.

At this event, members of our community will sign a 60 ft. petition to President Obama, Congress and state Governors urging them to make adequate funding of Medicaid and Medicare a top priority. We want to make certain that every person across the nation can have access to quality long term care and rehabilitation that they need, expect and deserve.

The Driving for Quality Care RV will travel to 40 states and visit some of the 2.5 million Americans cared for each day by the nearly 3 million individuals who work in the long term and post-acute care profession. Pisgah Manor has been asked to be the host facility for the Asheville area – the 20th stop of 60 cities the Driving for Quality Care tour will visit as it crisscrosses the country.
